*RED APPLE FUNDRAISER*

Our school is participating in the Red Apple fundraiser from now until we come back from break.  Please be on the lookout for the fundraiser packet being sent home with your child.  The two-week break is a great time to make ask your friends and family to support your child and their school.

It doesn't matter what time of year it is, it's always a great time to join our parent-teacher association! 

Even if you work and cannot help out at the events, join anyway and support us in spirit!

A great school starts with great parents sending great kids to school to learn from great teachers and staff.

I consider the Parent–Teacher partnership one of our most needed, and most important teams at George Washington. The objectives of the George Washington Parent Teacher Association are:

1. To promote the welfare of children and youth in school.
2. To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of the children and youth.
3. To develop between parents, and teachers, and students such united efforts as will secure for all the highest advantages in physical, mental, and social education.
